I find so much meaning in contributing to the most memorable celebrations in my clients' lives. I love the high stakes, the intense amount of love involved (being surrounded by people they love from every walk of life? Incredible!), and the priority placed on it.  I love helping to make it everything they’ve ever dreamt of – enabling the family to chill out and enjoy the day profusely. I love connecting with a bride on her specific vision for the day and making it come to fruition. And I love the building of a marriage – representing that with my work, recognizing its importance (it’s the whole REASON for the day!), and celebrating it.

KDE was born out of necessity:  after working a plethora of wedding industry jobs and only having the opportunity to take on a limited number of engagements independently each year, the time came in the fall of 2012 to start making plans for my official individual company debut!

I specialize in planning weddings -- everything from intimate affairs in pretty garden settings to blowout Southern bashes, complete with hundreds of the happy couple's nearest and dearest.  Let's get together and talk about your perfect day, shall we?
